  • Integrated Systems (both Pressure and Non-Pressure Systems).
  • Split Solar Collector Water-Heating Systems.
  • As well as Water Under-Floor Heating Solutions

All our products are manufactured by Jiangsu Sunshore Solar exclusively for the southern African market, with product quality and manufacturing done according to exacting TUV, CE, ISO9001 and SABS standards.

We pride ourselvers on providing only the latest and best products, installed by our prefessional installation teams based in KZN and Gauteng.

GREAT REASONS TO SWITCH TO SOLAR

So why should you be going solar?

  • You can save up to 90% on your water-heating electricity bill. Or up to 40% on your current electricity bill.
  • You can qualify for an Eskom subsidy when you choose to go solar.
  • You can have hot water on tap even during load shedding.
  • You will reduce your carbon footprint and do your bit to save the environment.
  • You get free hot water, after the initial payback period, for the rest of your life.

HOW SOLAR WATER-HEATING WORKS

Evacuated glass tubes are used to enable solar water-heating and these tubes consist of two layers of glass. The tubes are manufactured from hardened borosilicate glass.

The outer layer allows light rays to pass through with minimal reflection. The inner layer is covered with a special coating of AI-N/AI which has solar radiation absorption properties.

The bottom and the top of the tube are fused together and a vacuum is created between the layers of glass to prevent energy heat loss. To maintain the vacuum, a barium getter is used in the bottom of the tube.

Evacuated glass solar geysers are more efficient than flat panel systems due to their absorption, vacuum and insulation efficiency.

INTEGRATED WATER-HEATING SYSTEMS

Integrated Water-Heating Systems are the simplest, most effective solar water-heating system available.

Integrated Systems are available in both pressurised and non-pressurised systems.

Pressure System

This system uses the water pressure of the mains, and makes use of a copper coil to transfer heat.

Installed inside the tank, the copper coil acts as a heat exchanger. When water flows into the copper coil, it absorbs the heat of the water in the tank via the copper coil.

This heat exchange takes place instantly whenever hot water is being used and the output is pressurised hot water. The heat tank however is non-pressurised and open vented.

Non-pressure System

This system is an open-loop, gravity fed system and relies on the Thermo-Siphon phenomenon. Warm water rises to circulate the water through the tubes to the tank. Mains water flows into the tank and then to the lower part of the vacuum tubes, where it is heated. The water ascends in the tubes as it’s heated, and flows on to the tank before going to the user.

This system requires low maintenance and its high efficiency provides hot water after just a few hours of sunlight. An electrical backup system can provide energy during periods of cloudy weather.

Key benefits of the Pressure and Non-pressure Integrated Systems:

  • Integrated systems are the most effective systems available.
  • Integrated systems provide high volumes of hot water.
  • Pressurised available in 155l and 255l models. Non-pressurised in 80l, 100l, 150l & 200l
  • Can be installed on flat roofs and pitched roofs.
  • Each system comes with an electrical backup element.
  • Makes use of the latest glass-evacuated heat-tube technology.
  • Inner tank made of stainless steel.
  • Frame and stand available in galvanised powder coated finish or aluminum alloy.
  • Installed by professional teams.

SPLIT SOLAR COLLECTOR WATER-HEATING SYSTEM

A Split Solar Collector Water-Heating System is a low maintenance system that is connected to an existing geyser and uses a solar collector. The solar connector is placed on the roof while the geyser is in the roof. A solar pump ensures transfer of heat from the collector to the geyser. This system is available with pressurised or non-pressurised collectors.

Key Split Solar Collector System benefits:

  • Provides high volumes of hot water
  • Available in 18, 26 and 30 tube units.
  • Can be installed on flat roofs and pitched roofs.
  • Can be used to convert existing electrical geysers.
  • Makes use of the latest glass-evacuated heat-tube technology.
  • No tanks visible on the roof.
  • Inner tank made of stainless steel.
  • Frame and stand available in galvanised powder coated finish or aluminum alloy.
  • Ideal for large industrial boiler systems or for domestic use.
  • Accessories include Hail Protection Sheeting (recommended), Thermostatic Controllers and Solar Pumps.
  • Five-year guaranteed with a 20-year life span.
